Article I — League Officers

League officers are available if you have any questions or need assistance. If your question is about a feature of the hosting platform itself, please use their support resources first. For league-specific issues, contact the commissioner first, then a co-commissioner. If your issue is time-sensitive (e.g. a roster move and you have no internet access) and no officer is reachable, post on the league message board so the request is timestamped and can be honored retroactively.

Article II — League Entry & Other Fees

Entry fee: $140 total per team — $100 toward the end-of-year payout, $20 toward the championship trophy, and $20 toward weekly prizes (14 weeks × ~$2.86/week).

The last-placed team in the Loser bracket pays the trophy engraving fee and must fly a "loser flag" (to be determined) at their home for the full offseason. This exists to keep every manager engaged for the whole season.

Article III — Prize Payout Structure

Cash prizes go to the top 3 finishers in the Championship bracket, plus a weekly cash prize for the highest score of the week during the regular season.

1st place$780.0065%
2nd place$300.0025%
3rd place$120.0010%
Weekly prize (×14 weeks)$25.00/wk$350 total

Amounts above are the target payouts pending full fee collection; the listed percentages apply if entry fees aren't fully collected.

Article IV — Late Payments

Any weekly prize won by a team that hasn't paid its entry fee is forfeited and rolled into the Champion's payout. Teams unpaid by the league deadline are expelled immediately — no grace period. The commissioner manages the vacated team until a new owner is found and approved by the league.

Article V — Playoff Configuration

6-team Championship playoff, seeded by record then total points. The Championship bracket runs Weeks 15–16. A parallel 6-team Loser bracket runs through Week 17, and its final standings set next year's top 6 draft positions.

Article VI — Draft Order Determination

Next year's draft order is set by this year's playoff results:

Loser bracket finishDraft slot
1st1
2nd2
3rd3
4th4
5th5
6th6
Championship bracket finishDraft slot
Champion12
2nd11
3rd10
4th9
5th8
6th7

New teams slot into the 12th pick, adjusting existing owners accordingly.

Article VII — Trades
  1. Transaction fees: $1 per waiver/free-agent move, $2 per trade — goes to the league bank for draft-day food and drinks.
  2. Trades can be made between any managers within the hosting platform's rules.
  3. Once all parties accept, a trade can't be reversed due to injury, suspension, or other bad luck. It can only be voided if both parties agree before it's officially granted.
  4. Every other manager gets 24 hours to vote to veto a completed trade, but must give the commissioner a valid reason.
  5. Valid veto reasons: (a) the players traded aren't of comparable value given position and team needs, or (b) the trade doesn't improve both teams.
  6. If 60%+ of valid votes oppose the trade, it's voided. Managers involved in the trade don't vote.
  7. Traded players can't be traded back for 3 game weeks (no short-term loans).
  8. Trade deadline: TBA.
Article VIII — New Rule Creation

Disputes not covered by this constitution are discussed by the league, then put to a commissioner-run poll. The result applies immediately and gets appended to the constitution. Polls are decided by plurality (commissioner breaks ties) and typically run 3 days, shorter if game day is close.

Article IX — Roster Oversights

If a roster slot is empty (bye week or oversight) and an eligible bench player is available, that player must be started. If two eligible players qualify, start whichever has the higher projected points for that week.

Article X — League Format
  • 12 teams across two divisions: NUT Federation and Water SAC Alliance.
  • 27-man rosters: 14 starters (1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX (W/R/T), 1 FLEX (Q/W/R/T), 2 DL, 1 LB, 2 DB), 10 bench, 3 taxi, 5 IR (IR slot requires actual IR designation, not just "injured").
Article XI — The Draft

Draft date/time: TBA. The commissioner arranges draft-day logistics on the hosting platform. It's each manager's responsibility to attend or set up an autodraft. Snake draft order: 1–12, then 12–1, repeating for 28 rounds. Each pick has a 1.5-minute clock; if time expires, a player is auto-selected and the pick passes. Free agency opens immediately after the draft. Draft order is decided by an activity set by the commissioner beforehand.

Rules & Ethics

Any rule violation may cost you your entry fee and prize eligibility — no refunds. Keep it competitive but fun.

1. No collusion. Banter is encouraged, but play it straight. Collusion includes: loaning players, intentionally starting a weakened lineup, or giving a player away in an obviously one-sided trade (especially once you're out of contention). The commissioner rules on collusion accusations.

2. Inactivity. After 3 inactive game weeks, a commissioner will reach out; a 1-week grace period follows, then removal from the league. Inactivity means fielding a lineup with injured/unavailable players when better options exist on your bench — unless your only healthy options are simply weaker. A replacement manager is voted in unanimously by the other owners, and the removed manager forfeits prize money and entry fee. If you'll be away for multiple weeks, give the commissioners a heads up.

3. Group chat. No rules — all-out trash talk is encouraged.

Amendments

Future amendments are handled in the offseason, at a time when all owners can meet to discuss changes.
